APQP and PPAP support a controlled transition to serial production

We use APQP and PPAP operating models in quality planning, particularly when a new product moves from design to serial production. APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) helps anticipate the manufacturing process and quality requirements before production starts, so potential risks can be addressed at an early stage.

PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) ensures on a product-specific basis that the requirements have been understood, production risks identified and their control documented before serial production.
