Vantaa – a Versatile Factory for Pressing and Assemblies

Our Vantaa plant brings together pressing, multi-slide technology, and assembly for  efficient complete solutions. It is a cornerstone of our production network that serves customers in need of precise metal components and ready-made assemblies.

In Vantaa, prototypes, small series, and large production volumes are manufactured – always in accordance with the customer’s needs.

Extensive manufacturing expertise under the same roof

The Vantaa plant provides a combination of several manufacturing technologies enabling the production of demanding metal components in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

We make use of, for example:

  • multi-slide technology for precise and complicated parts
  • progressive tools and servo pressing for serial production
  • automatic assembly for the production of complete units

From prototypes to serial production

Vantaa serves the customers throughout the product life cycle. We make prototypes and small series usable to ensure product functionality prior to serial production. Scalable production allows for flexible transition to large volumes without interruptions in the process.

The design and tool department at Vantaa develops efficient manufacturing solutions and designs the manual and progressive tools needed for product manufacture. We machine and wire-cut the necessary tool components and assemble and test the tools. We also maintain and repair the tools and manufacture spare parts for them. Finally, our NPI organisation is responsible for introducing new products into production and managing the ramp-up projects.

Assemblies and finishing

In addition to individual components, we also manufacture ready-made assemblies. Automatic assembly and versatile aftertreatments allow product deliveries directly to the customer’s production.

The after treatment processes include:

  • assembly work
  • drum treatment and burr removal
  • ultrasonic cleaning
  • thermal treatments

Part of joint production network

The Vantaa plant operates in close co-operation with our other plants in Finland and Estonia. This allows us to combine different technologies, capacity, and expertise into the best solution for the customer.

From the customer’s perspective, this means a more streamlined project, better cost efficiency, and solid security of supply. Vantaa operates as part of our international service network. We combine local manufacturing and expertise with a wider European sales and customer service network.
