Introduction: Patrik “Palle” Berglin, Meconet AB

Patrik Berglin is the key account manager for selected important Meconet customers and the CEO of Meconet AB. Originally from Sandviken, Patrik worked as a construction worker for a couple of years after finishing his education before completing his military service, where he was involved in heavy vehicle transportation. After the military, the recession affecting the construction industry forced him to seek new opportunities, which he found in northern Sweden.

Patrik worked for five years in a call center before moving to Stockholm, where he delved into the IT and energy sectors, focusing particularly on various databases. During these five years, he also spent two and a half years deepening his knowledge of sales and marketing, studying at Mercury International Business School.

His career continued at the Greek ferry company Superfast Ferries, where he was involved in establishing a new ferry route from Södertälje to Rostock, Germany.

“It was a year full of experiences and a very educational time,” Patrik says.

Before joining Meconet, he worked for a decade in a hydraulics company representing German and Italian brands in Sweden. But then it was time for Meconet.

Patrik has been with Meconet for about nine years now. He loves to work with customers and is enthusiastic about client care and customer satisfaction. In addition to his role as the key account manager, he is also the CEO of Meconet AB and part of Meconet’s Management team.

In his free time, Patrik enjoys sports. He is a passionate ice hockey enthusiast and has won bronze at the veteran level in Sweden. Golf is another of his favorite hobbies. Recently, a puppy has joined his household, and he enjoys the nature-centric lifestyle in Nynäshamn, where the sea and forests provide excellent opportunities for outdoor activities.
