The multi-slide technology makes efficient use of raw materials

The multi-slide technology is a less common pressing method. Among the first in the Nordic countries, we invested in modern NC multi-slide technology to provide our customers with a cost-effective alternative for production of large batches. In Meconet we have a comprehensive fleet of machines, including various Bihler automatic multi-slide machines.

An excellent method for large quantities

The multi-slide technology is a great choice for large production series, from ten thousand to several million pieces per production batch. It is a cost-effective manufacturing method, especially owing to the efficient use of raw materials. The percentage of material wasted is very small, which reduces the production costs significantly. In case of the multi-slide technology, the material thickness can be 0.1–2.0 millimetres.

The technology can also be combined with auxiliary technologies such as threading, screwing, welding, etc. The method is excellently compatible with many materials, such as:
