Meconet has acquired the entire share capital of the domestic Relicomp Oy. Relicomp is particularly known in the industry as a sheet metal manufacturer and a frontrunner in deep drawing technology. The transaction was completed at the end of March.
“This acquisition is very significant for us, as it expands Meconet’s offering in powder coating, medium-sized sheet metal work series and component assembly. Our product range will expand, our resources will be strengthened, and in the future, we will have even more opportunities to offer our customers a wider range of sheet metal technology services,” says Meconet’s CEO Teppo Aatola.
After the acquisition, Relicomp Oy will continue as a separate company. The company’s brand and locations will remain unchanged. Relicomp Oy’s production facility in Kurikka further strengthens the group’s delivery capacity.
With the acquisition, Meconet will grow to a new size, which in turn creates an even stronger foundation for potential international expansion, for example in the Central European market.
